Here is a photo Vince sent to me this morning. Ingrid took some shots from the jetty and she has a really nice lens. The new mini Walden is a great board for the wind swell lake conditions. It allows you good float but also can turn quickly like a shorter board. Great day, and I hope to surf with everyone again soon!

Sama Slayers

A true Self-Absorbed Mid-West Adventurer.... I liked how the surfboards, kites, mt.bike, and the hunting gear really ties the whole midwestern scene together. Hopefully, we will get a hunt-surf weekend under our belt soon. I saw a little button buck tonight, but didn't have the heart to shoot him.

I was hoping Brooke's new camera would shoot fast enough to do sequence shots... and it does!

We should be able to get some cool shots skating the pool in Grand Haven and snowboarding this winter.

I saw these boards on a website and thought it was noteworthy. The kits look pretty cool, although REALLY expensive. It would be interesting to surf one and see how they float in the freshies.

Well, hopefully there will be some surf after school today. Looks like a die out, and then the southwest is ramping up for tomorrow a bit. We scored a great session in Frankfort Sunday. I forgot how beautiful the water up there is. Nice little day trip, and the scene up there is exploding. Not sure how cool that is but at least it means more friends to surf with. Hope to see all of you in the water sometime this week.
